The stars were out in force, as such big names as David Schwimmer, Mario Lopez, and SNL funnyman Jason Sudekis' brother, Ronny Sudekis, were there to enjoy a good shank of lamb, along with our tireless advocate, pop music sensation John Oates, who regaled the crowd with stories of how big an asshole former band mate Daryl Hall is.
The festivities were held at the luxurious Gomorrah Casino and Hotel in fabulous Dubai, where our guests were treated to many lavish extravagances, such as the four story silken luge, the world's largest diamond-encrusted taffy ball, and, of course, the fountain of molten gold.
The evening was a stunning success, pulling in a new O.G.F.W.B.T.S.M.K.P. record of $36,457,809, just shy of covering the evening's expenses. The leftover lamb, mostly hooves and spinal cords, were flown directly to the village of one of our two aid recipients, Norbu Samdhup, who expressed her deep appreciation for the support."Who are you people? Why won't you leave us alone? I don't want your meat, or your dirty punch bowls, or those soiled hotel towels you brought us last week! Go! Go away!"
